The Louth Business Awards took place on Saturday, 14th November in the Carrickdale Hotel. We had the pleasure of sponsoring the Award for Best Training Initiative, won by Cargotec and presented by LMETB's Patricia Kelly.

The night was a huge success for the Dundalk Chamber of Commerce as a record number of over 550 guests attended the Black Tie event. Patricia recalled the evening being a success saying ‘Everything from the venue to the huge turnout was a great success. Every finalist received a plaque, which was a nice touch on the evening’.

Brenda McGeeney, of Dundalk Chamber, said ‘It is now one of the biggest Black Tie events in the county and the premier networking event for local companies. We were also delighted that champions Dundalk FC could attend on the night with their fabulous trophies.’

The Special Guests on the night were Dundalk FC Manager Stephen Kenny and club secretary Colm Murphy who brought the club’s four trophies won this season along on the night.

Congratulations to all of the 2015 finalists with a special note to those in the Best Training Initiative Award – Vesta Payment Solutions, National Learning Network, Prometric, Irish Life and winner Cargotec.
